Hanging photographs is a fairly simple
job.
First you would look at the wall where you are going to put your
photo.
If it is vacant then its only a matter of hanging your photo in
the horizontal center of the wall and at a height that looks balanced
with any furniture below are near where you want to put your photo.
This works for horizontal or vertical photos.
Fixing to the wall.
What type of wall do you have and how big and heavy is the framed
photo.
Wall types are either hollow or solid.
For hollow walls use hollow wall anchors.
For solid walls you need to drill holes and insert wall plugs and
fix with screws or use dynabolts which I prefer - they are stronger.
For light photos - no bigger than 20" wide you can use one
fixing point.
For heavy photos - 30" and bigger you need to use two fixing
points.
Two fixing points will always be better
because the photo stays level from the day you put it up.
The last thing to do is make sure your new hanging photo is level.
