This is an issue for anyone who invests in or collects art.
 
I will not say which one is better, that is a personal preference, but I will say your decision is not as clear as in the past.

Today photography is accepted as collectable art, look at the rising prices, the art buyers have decided so the market rises.
 
Previously B&W was sought and still is, but now color photographs are in demand, this movement may be caused by B&W becoming less affordable, although big money has been paid for color photographs.
 
We are seeing a huge rise of interest in high quality color photographs.

If you are an investor or a collector of art then you now have good reasons to buy color photographs.
